Samir Nuriyev, Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, has introduced Sahil Babayev as the newly appointed Minister of Finance to the ministry's staff.
During the ceremony, Nuriyev highlighted that the formation and development of Azerbaijan’s modern financial system is closely linked to the legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized that following National Leader Heydar Aliyev's return to power in the early 1990s, economic and financial stability was restored, and through coherent legal reforms, a stable financial system was established.
Nuriyev also noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has experienced consistent development, fostering a dynamic economic and financial environment through economic reforms, increased transparency, and a stronger investment climate.
The Head of the Presidential Administration emphasized that the Ministry of Finance, as the key body responsible for state financial management, operates under the direct oversight of President Ilham Aliyev. He reiterated the President's instructions to the ministry and expressed confidence that the ministry’s staff would fully support their implementation. Nuriyev concluded by wishing success to the newly appointed minister and the staff.
