President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Baku Healthcare Center

President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Baku Healthcare Center

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today attended the opening of the Baku Healthcare Center, a state-of-the-art multi-profile clinic.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Center.

The President and the First Lady toured the facility.

Healthcare Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva about the clinic.

The foundation stone for the 550-bed facility was laid in 2011.

President Ilham Aliyev signed an Executive Order on the establishment of the Baku Healthcare Center on August 6, 2010.

After touring the Center the Head of State met with healthcare workers.
