Both Hungary and the US play an important role in ensuring the security of nuclear energy supplies, therefore technological cooperation in this area is promising," Szijjártó wrote on Facebook.
"Westinghouse is one of the leading companies in the global nuclear technology market and can play an important role in the creation of small modular nuclear power plants. These small power plants will be able to reliably produce large amounts of electricity in an environmentally friendly way, so we are interested in developing this technology in collaboration with Westinghouse," he noted.
