President Ilham Aliyev has hailed the newly inaugurated Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline as a critical step toward ensuring Nakhchivan’s long-term energy security. Speaking via video link at the opening ceremony, the President highlighted the strategic importance of the project.
He stressed that Azerbaijani gas transported through Türkiye will now directly supply Nakhchivan, guaranteeing a stable and reliable energy source for the region’s development and daily needs.
