On March 5, Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, attended an iftar ceremony in Ankara.
Note, earlier today the leaders also participated in the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline via video link, underscoring the strong bilateral cooperation between the two nations. President Aliyev emphasized the significance of this energy project, which will contribute to Nakhchivan's energy security and further strengthen the energy ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. This ceremony marks another milestone in the close friendship and brotherhood shared by the two countries.
