In January and February of this year, Azerbaijan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 19.072 billion manat, showing a 0.2% increase compared to the same period last year. According to the State Statistics Committee, the added value in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.7%, while the non-oil and gas sector saw a 1.7% growth.
The breakdown of GDP production reveals that 38.5% of GDP came from industry, 10.1% from trade and vehicle repairs, 6.9% from transportation and warehousing, 4.6% from construction, 2.9% from agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2.5% from tourism and catering services, 1.9% from information and communication, and 22% from other sectors. Taxes on products and imports contributed 10.6% to the GDP. The GDP per capita amounted to 1,864.7 manat.
