Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a video conference with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, to discuss deepening economic ties and launching joint initiatives.
Both sides underscored the importance of the strong political will demonstrated by their respective heads of state, as well as the positive impact of high-level visits and bilateral events in driving forward the partnership between the two countries.
Minister Jabbarov emphasized the vast potential for collaboration, particularly in investment and joint production across the food and industrial sectors. He also highlighted opportunities within Azerbaijan’s industrial zones, including those located in the Garabakh region.
The ministers welcomed the dynamic growth of Azerbaijani-Uzbek economic relations and exchanged views on expanding cooperation, with a particular focus on investment and the implementation of joint projects.
As part of the meeting, a session of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company was held, focusing on boosting mutual investments and reinforcing business ties between the two nations.
