A delegation from the National Defense University of Azerbaijan visited Sofia to attend a solemn event marking the 113th anniversary of Bulgaria's Rakovski National Defense College.
Following the event, Major General Arif Hasanov, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University for Science and Rector of the Military Scientific Research Institute, held a meeting with Major General Stayko Prokopiev, head of the Rakovski College.
Both sides delivered briefings and exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in military education. The Azerbaijani side also shared updates on reforms in the Azerbaijan Army, highlighting improvements in the educational system and integration of new technologies.
The delegation met with Azerbaijani cadets currently studying at the college to discuss their academic progress, living conditions, and overall training experience. Representatives also listened to their feedback and answered their questions.
