The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while the Swiss delegation was led by Muriel Peneveyre, Assistant State Secretary of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Eurasia Division, AzVision.az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry.
During the consultations, political relations between the two countries were discussed, and the importance of maintaining a continuous political dialogue through reciprocal visits and meetings within the framework of international events was emphasized. Discussions were also held on the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, transport, and humanitarian areas, including within international organizations.
The importance of developing the relevant contractual-legal framework to expand cooperation in various fields was highlighted.
