President Ilham Aliyev has approved a memorandum of understanding between the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and the Pakistan Customs Service (Federal Revenue Service) regarding the pre-arrival electronic exchange of information, AzVision.az reports.
The head of state signed a new decree in this regard.
Under the decree, once the memorandum enters into force, the State Customs Committee is tasked with ensuring the implementation of its provisions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must notify the Pakistani side that the necessary domestic procedures for the memorandum's entry into force have been completed.
