The 60-mm and 82mm mortars and heavy machineguns were used by Armenians to violate the ceasefire, said Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry Oct. 5.
Azerbaijani military came under Armenian fire from positions in Tapgaragoyun, Gulustan villages of Goranboy district, Chilaburt, Goyarkh, Giziloba villages of Terter district, Sarijali, Kengerli, Shikhlar, Yusifjanli, Merzili, Giyamaddinli, Bash Garvand villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand district, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli, Ashagi Abdurrahmanli, Ashagi Veyselli, Alkhanli villages of Fuzuli district, Mehdili village of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
In view of the operational situation, the Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 109 strikes on enemy positions.
