“The outcomes of the international conference ON “Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas”, show that this conference has now become a sustainable platform,” said Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), at a press conference dedicated to the conclusion of the international conference themed “Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas” in Baku.
He noted that in the coming years, this area anticipates the establishment of new institutions, adding that new mechanisms should be identified and put into operation in the fight against Islamophobia.
“We have already moved from theoretical discussions to practical steps. This is accompanied by research projects, conferences and other events. Educational institutions and legal frameworks address issues related to Islamophobia. As a result, we have already achieved concrete outcomes,” Shafiyev added.
