It was earlier reported that a there is a danger by Russian border guards for Baku-Supsa pipeline.
Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze told Georgia’s Public Television that in existence of any threat to Baku-Supsa pipeline, the government will launch alternative project.
According to him, problems on Baku-Supsa have been occurring since 2008: “BP cannot control over 1.5 km-part of the pipeline since august war. Because this site is under control of Russian militants. If any problem occurs further, we have 1,600 m- alternative project. Georgian government was offered to agree with the Ossetians”.
“They want to politicize this issue. However, this is unacceptable for Georgia”, Kaladze said.
Speaking about the alternative project, Mammadov said that this project may be used only in extremely situation: “May be we need to discuss this project too”.
