Cameron Confirms Will Not Seek Third Term as Prime Minister
British Prime Minister David Cameron confirmed Tuesday he will not seek a third term as UK prime minister if his Conservative party stays in power past 2020.
In an interview with Sky News television, Cameron promised that he would not be "tempted" to seek a new term and told voters not to bet on him during the 2020 general election.

"I`ve also got a talented team behind me and after I`ve done the two terms, the 10 years, I`m sure there`ll be many talented people who put their name forward and frankly I`m proud of the fact that they are increasingly being noticed as a talented bunch," he told the UK television channel.

Cameron made a pre-election promise ahead of the May 2015 general vote that this would be his last term at the helm of the UK government.
