An awareness-raising event was held for 20 families resettled in the village of Khanyurdu in the Khojaly district, AzVision.az reports, citing the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
The event focused on several key issues. Educational videos were shown to the displaced families, covering topics such as social protection measures, the continuation of the monthly allowance for those who have returned to their permanent homes (which will be stopped after three years), and the dangers of landmines.
The State Committee regularly disseminates these videos in the media. This is part of a larger action plan under the First State Program for the Great Return. The Committee, along with its local representatives and Housing and Communal Services, consistently holds educational meetings with internally displaced persons (IDPs) to inform them about legal requirements and social protection measures. Informational booklets and brochures are also prepared and distributed, and educational videos are produced as part of this ongoing effort.
