UK Defense Minister John Healey has arrived in Kyiv for an unannounced visit, as reported by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.
Shmyhal stated that the purpose of the visit is to coordinate key issues for the next meeting of the "Ramstein" defense contact group, scheduled to be held in London.
"We will coordinate the main issues of the upcoming Ramstein meeting and joint defense projects," Shmyhal wrote. He added that the two countries are preparing "important bilateral decisions that will strengthen the defense capabilities of our countries."
The UK has been a major supplier of military aid to Ukraine and a leading partner in the "Ramstein" group, which coordinates international support for Ukraine's defense.
