Azerbaijan is set to open an embassy in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. The establishment of the new diplomatic mission is on the agenda for a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, scheduled for September 10.
The move is seen as a step to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, expanding Azerbaijan's diplomatic presence in the Gulf region.
