Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office meets with Kyrgyz President

Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek.

During the visit, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade met with Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Pashazade conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President Ilham Aliyev to the President of Kyrgyzstan, underscoring the unbreakable bonds and shared values between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

“Thanks to the friendly and fraternal relations between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Sadyr Zhaparov, the all-round cooperation between the states and peoples is further strengthened,” Pashazade emphasized.

He expressed confidence that the meeting, hosted by Kyrgyzstan - a country that attaches special importance to religious and spiritual values - under the leadership of President Zhaparov, would contribute to strengthening relations between the fraternal peoples. Pashazade also expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz President for organizing the event.

President Zhaparov, in turn, asked to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that deepening spiritual ties among the fraternal Turkic states, developing religious and moral values, preventing radicalism, and especially educating the younger generation in the light of true religious values are among the most pivotal issues, noting that great responsibility lies with the religious leaders of the Turkic states in this regard.
