Mohamed Alyammahi, President of the Arab Parliament, and Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, have sent congratulatory letters to Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Milli Majlis, on the occasion of November 8 - Azerbaijan’s Victory Day.
In their letters, the officials conveyed their congratulations on the fifth anniversary of the Victory Day, describing the occasion as a symbol of strong will, unity, and determination of the Azerbaijani people.
The letters said that as a result of the historic struggle led under the visionary guidance of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan had restored its sovereignty and territorial integrity. According to the messages, the achieved successes create a solid foundation for the development and prosperity of the country.
The parliamentary officials also stressed the importance of cooperation, stability, and mutual understanding, expressing hope for further enhancement of interparliamentary ties, also wishing prosperity, progress, and stable future to the friendly people of Azerbaijan.
