Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Marijana Kujundžić, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan.
The discussions highlighted enhancement of the economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and EU, one of the country’s main trading partners. The officials underscored that the Azerbaijan-EU collaboration across energy, investment and other domains, contributes to the regional development.
They exchanged views on Azerbaijan’s strategic development goals and the EU’s 2024 Financing Agreement for the country.
In the context of joint initiatives, they highlighted cooperation opportunities in trade, energy, transportation, infrastructure, and digitalization, as well as the prospects for further diversification of the partnership.
