“The role of railway transport in regional coordination has increased significantly in recent years,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev in his speech at the 83rd meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council.
According to him, the transport sector is of strategic importance for Azerbaijan, and the country, together with its partners, continues to develop a unified transport policy.
“Modernization of infrastructure, expansion of transport capabilities, and optimization of tariff policy have become key elements of deeper integration among the countries. The transport sector is of strategic importance for Azerbaijan. We are continuously developing a common transport policy with our state partners, strengthening the specific capabilities of our logistics chain, and creating new routes,” the minister emphasized.
