Azerbaijan’s Deputy Speaker of Milli Majlis Musa Gasimli and Head of Azerbaijan-Thailand Working Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations Goydeniz Gahramanov met with Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok's Institute under the Parliament of Thailand.
Musa Gasimli highlighted the current state of relations between the two countries, emphasizing the pivotal role of high-level visits in the development of these ties.
He noted that Azerbaijan and Thailand maintain fruitful cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and other international organizations, underscoring the mutually beneficial interaction between parliaments in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
Issara Sereewatthanawut underlined the potential for expanding mutual relations between Azerbaijan and Thailand, stressing the importance of intensifying contacts across various fields.
The meeting also featured the possibilities for expanding economic relations between the two countries, increasing trade turnover, and new initiatives in tourism, education, innovation, industry and other areas.
