“Based on its principled and pragmatic foreign policy, Azerbaijan is committed to constructive engagement within the OSCE,” stated Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, during his remarks at the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna.
He stressed that cooperative solutions and constructive dialogue are essential for achieving meaningful results.
“Despite its shortcomings, we continue to believe in the role of the OSCE, given its comprehensive security concept and broad membership. However, to remain relevant, the Organization must adapt and deliver tangible outcomes.
Only cooperative solutions can yield results. The consensus principle must always remain a fundamental feature of our collective efforts and a cornerstone of the decision-making process.
“With this understanding, we remain open to constructive engagement with all OSCE Participating States to overcome the challenges to the OSCE’s functionality and efficiency,” the Foreign Minister emphasized.
