IRGC commander Hossein Hamedani killed in Syria

One of the top Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani has been killed in Syria on October 8, IRGC`s official website reported.

Hamedani was killed near the city of Aleppo during his mission to provide consultations services to Syrian Islamic front forces against ISIL, the public relations department of the IRGC said in a statement.
