On December 10, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) Samir Akhundov met with a World Bank delegation led by Roger Coma Cunill, Senior Energy Specialist and task team leader.
The meeting focused on the “Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project” (AZURE), as well as issues related to improving electricity tariffs.
The parties also reviewed the progress made in the ongoing electricity sector reforms.
