Earthquake hits Caspian Sea

An earthquake struck the Caspian Sea, the Republican Center of Azerbaijan’s Seismological Service told reporters.

The quake measured 3.1 in magnitude and occurred at 20:33 p.m. local time.

The epicenter was located 72 kilometers below the surface.
