Azerbaijani boxers crowned European champions

Azerbaijani boxers crowned European champions

Azerbaijani boxers secured 2 gold and 2 silver medals at the U-17 European Boxing Championship held in Keinbaum, Germany, AzVision.az reports.

Gular Huseynova (48kg) grabbed gold after defeating Turkish Asmin Cabas. Gardash Rahimov (46kg) also secured the top spot on the podium after defeating Romania’s Birham-Pasa Iuseima.

Shahin Aslanov (60kg) and Shukar Aliyev (75kg), won the silver medals of the European Championship.

The event brought together 382 athletes from 29 countries.
