On December 18, the Justice Academy of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Justice organized an international conference on constitutional foundations of organization of state power of members of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
Addressing the event, Toghrul Huseynov, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Justice, highlighted the significance of the event.
He also emphasized that 2025 has been declared the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" in Azerbaijan and noting that the basic principles of the Constitution are guided by the establishment of modern legal mechanisms and the expansion of judicial reforms in the country.
Subsequently, the representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye delivered a speech regarding the topic.
The conference brought together representatives from institutions engaged in judicial and prosecutorial training, which are members of the Turkish Judicial Training Network of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as from institutions operating in this field in Azerbaijan.
Additionally, the event was organized within the "Plan of Actions on the Declaration of 2025 as the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty in Azerbaijan" approved by Decree No. 477 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 11, 2025.
