Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with UK Minister for Aviation, Maritime and Decarbonisation, MP Keir Mather.
During the meeting, Minister Nabiyev highlighted Azerbaijan’s transit potential, the modernization of transport infrastructure in Baku, as well as developments in the Baku Metro and railway projects.
The two sides also discussed digital transport systems, including the “Digital Transport Twin” powered by artificial intelligence, and explored opportunities to expand air links with the UK and increase the number of flights between the two countries.
