The country also imported oil and oil products worth $954.41 million in 2013. This mean Azerbaijan is supporting 28.89 percent of the country`s imports in this category.
The volume of Georgian imports of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan decreased by 17.83 percent per annum which in quantitative terms is 45,480 tons. For comparison, Georgia imported 341,220 tons of oil products worth $335.53 million from Azerbaijan in 2012, according to the report.
The share of oil and oil products in the total volume of goods imported from Azerbaijan for the period totalled 43.2 percent.
Georgia imported the products amounting to $638.11 million from Azerbaijan in 2013. The volume of imports from Azerbaijan to Georgia for the period increased 0.7 percent. For comparison: Georgia imported Azerbaijani goods worth $633.54 million in 2012.
