Monopoly is one of the main problems of Azerbaijan`s economy, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on results of socioeconomic development in nine months of 2015 and upcoming tasks.
"Unfortunately, we could not achieve the serious results in this sphere in both production and import. I do not understands the psychology when one says I produce this commodity, the other person must not produce it. Other people must also be given an opportunity for competition. If there is no competition, there is no development and high-quality production.
Let everyone produce. It is good, our market is quite limited, produce the goods that can be sold abroad and the state will stimulate this," the head of state said.
The President of Azerbaijan noted that export will be the main direction of economic development.
