Chairman of Russian Central Election Commission Vladimir Churov will visit Baku to monitor the parliamentary elections on November 1.
V. Churov himself informed about it.
“We are going to monitor Azerbaijan’s parliamentary elections within various compositions. These are our plans for the near future”, he said.
V.Churov mentioned that the different point is that the OSCE observation mission will not observe the 1 November parliamentary elections. “The OSCE Chairman’s decision not to send an observation mission to Azerbaijan is illegal. This decision contradicts the organization’s documents. It was his personal decision. Other missions will observe the elections”, he added.
