Last year, the population of Azerbaijan was over 9 477 000, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs told APA.
The committee said that 172 600 children were born last year. The number of divorces was 11 849 while the number of marriages was 86 594. The number of marriages with foreigners was 2780, divorces – 211. 71 marriage contracts were signed. Compared to 2012, this figure is a little more.
