Azerbaijan not going to render financial aid to Ukraine
Azerbaijan has no intention to provide financial assistance to Ukraine.
It was announced by Novruz Mammadov, deputy chief of staff and chief of department for foreign relations at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, 1news.az reports.

No one and no organization has asked Azerbaijan to provide a financial assistance to Ukraine, he said.

Earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton said that the United States, European Union, as well as Azerbaijan, Japan and Norway will create a donor group to provide financial assistance to Ukraine.

It was noted that the financial support will be provided after the EU imposes sanctions against Ukraine.

"All these news are speculative in nature. The Azerbaijani government has not taken any decision on this issue," Mammadov added.
