The minister said that Costa Rica believes in international law and supports the peacekeeping steps taken within the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
Referring to his country’s position on the Khojaly tragedy, he said: “If this resolution is approved within the framework of the UN, Costa Rica will show its support. Costa Rica has no armed forces. We pursue a peacekeeping policy. All conflicts, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be solved within the international law. Although being in a complicated situation, Azerbaijan managed to develop.”
