During the visit Garkun will hold several meetings at the presidential administration of Azerbaijan, the foreign ministry, as well as the government.
Moreover, Garkun will review the preparation for the election in the regions of Azerbaijan.
The visit will end on October 25.
The parliament election will be held in Azerbaijan November 1.

Vladimir Garkun, the First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary, arrived in Baku to review the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan, Yevgeny Sloboda, the head of the CIS observation mission staff in the capital, told on Oct. 20.
