Azerbaijan overfulfils forecast on oil products by 1mln tonnes
Against the forecast of 30,441,600 tonnes of oil, Azerbaijan produced 31,409,500 tonnes of oil (up 967,900 tonnes from forecast) in the nine months of 2015, Energy Minister Natig Aliyev’s article published on “Republika” newspaper.

The minister noted that 6,214,600 tonnes of oil were produced by SOCAR (up 6,600 tonnes from forecast), 23,533,700 tonnes from ACG (up 871,000 tonnes), 1,661,200 tonnes from Shahdeniz (up 90,200 tonnes).

Crude oil production made 26,473,900 tonnes (forecast - 25,596,800 tonnes): “Crude oil processing by SOCAR made 4,855,100 tonnes (forecast – 4,807,500 tonnes)”.

The minister said that current daily transportation capacity of BTC makes 1.2 barrels and the pipeline also transports Turkmen and Kazakh oil: “During the reporting period, 26.4 mln tonnes of oil were exported from the country, of which 25.1 mln tonnes belong to consortium, 1.3 mln tonnes to SOCAR”.
