Viral infection found in many of Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims
Viral infection was discovered in many of Azerbaijani pilgrims who returned from Hajj this year, Haji Kitabullah Akberov, who headed the medical team that accompanied the Azerbaijani pilgrims during Hajj told.
He said that many of the Azerbaijani pilgrims were infected with the virus in Saudi Arabia.

Akberov added that it is acute viral respiratory infection with symptoms of coughing, sneezing, loss of appetite, joint and muscle pain.

“More than 500 Hajj pilgrims were infected with the virus due to bad diet, drinking cold water and other reasons,” he said.

2,400 Azerbaijani pilgrims left for making their Hajj pilgrimage this year. Three of them died in Mecca.
