Some 66,000 observers to monitor parliamentary election in Azerbaijan
Some 501 international observers from 40 organizations will observe the forthcoming parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), said Oct. 29.
He said that some 66,000 observers were registered to monitor the parliamentary election.

Panahov said that until now some 2,619 people were registered in the CEC to observe the election in the country, while more than 63,000 local observers were registered in the district election commissions.

The parliamentary election will be held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1.
