Rescuers spot crew of Russian MiG-31 jet that went missing in Kamchatka
The crew of the missing MiG-31 jet that disappeared from radar on Friday has been spotted by an Ilyushin-38 anti-submarine plane involved in a search and rescue operation in the Far East.
"The crew of the Ilyushin-38 plane saw the pilots, the parachutes and the signal campfire on the ground," the Defense Ministry said. "Search and rescue helicopters will evacuate the pilots as soon as the weather improves."

The jet went missing while returning to its base in the Kamchatka region after a routine training flight.
