Parliamentary election in Azerbaijan was held in frames of the country’s laws and international standards, in calm conditions and no incidents were observed, Jordi Xucla, head of the observation mission from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) said.
Noting that the election was transparent, he pointed out that there were cameras in 25 percent of the polling stations and wide coverage in the media.
“Voting processes was professionally and technically well organized,” Xucla said. “The mission didn’t report any violence of the election code.”
He noted that no act of pressures on voters or any other incidents were observed.
PACE underlines the transparency in voting and counting process which is a step forward in the election system of Azerbaijan, Xucla added.
