"The EU looks forward to continue cooperation with Azerbaijani institutions, including the newly elected Parliament, to the benefit of all citizens", the European External Action Service made statement regarding with Azerbaijan`s parliamentary elections.
"The EU supports elections based on international standards, conducted in a transparent and inclusive manner", the statement reads.
The Election Monitoring Group expressed regret that the European Parliament and OSCE have not sent a mission to observe the elections in Azerbaijan.
The delegation came to a conclusion that the election process was held in accordance with the basic democratic standards and principles.
The Election Monitoring Group comprises 31 deputies representing 12 European countries.
