OSCE monitoring contact line of Azerbaijani, Armenian troops
OSCE is monitoring the contact line between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops today, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
The monitoring is being held under the mandate of the OSCE chairperson-in-office personal representative on the contact line near Azerbaijan’s Terter district.

On the Azerbaijani side, the monitoring being carried out by the field assistants of OSCE chairperson-in-office personal representative Jiri Aberle and Simon Tiller, on the opposite side, by the field assistants of OSCE chairperson-in-office personal representative Yevgeny Sharov, Hristo Hristov and Peter Svedberg.

Jiri Aberle and Simon Tiller firstly met with head of Terter District Executive Authority Mustegim Mammadov. Head of executive authority informed them about the situation in the frontal districts. Mammadov told reporters that the last monitoring was held on September 22. “Since then, Armenians violated ceasefire 2380 times in Terter direction. We informed them that people couldn`t collect grain from 280 hectares of field in villages close to the contact line. We can’t repair our two artesian wells located in Gapanli village near the contact line to solve the people’s water problem. We informed them about Armenian’s firing at wedding tent. We proved that the opposite side’s claims as if the wedding tent was near military unit are false,” he said.

Then the OSCE representatives went to the contact line.
