“There are lots of opportunities for Azerbaijani scientists to work in the military industry area,” President Ilham Aliyev said Monday in his speech at the general meeting marking the 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
The head of state said Azerbaijan produces 1,000 kinds of military product and the Azerbaijani army is equipped largely with domestic military products.
“There is a lot the scientists are meant to accomplish. What is far more important is that they should contribute to Azerbaijan’s science and our common development,” he said.
