Iran arrests 20 people intending to join IS
Twenty people going to join the terrorist organization "Islamic State" in Syria and Iraq were detained near the Iranian border, Fars agency quoted Mahmoud Alavi, Iran
He said a large terrorist network was neutralized in the country’s eastern part, while ten members of terrorist groups were arrested in the provinces of Gulustan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Mazandaran, and Tehran.

Alavi added that 14 people were detained as well due to the recent incident in the city of Dezful of Iran’s Khuzestan province, and said that eight of those arrested are leaders of terrorist groups.

Earlier, two people were killed and two injured in Dezful as a result of fire opened by unidentified persons during a religious funeral procession.
