It was earlier reported that over 70 current MPs from the country`s ruling Justice and Development Party will not be able to participate in the parliamentary elections in 2015. This decision was made at the congress of the ruling party in accordance with the internal charter. The party deputies have no right to be elected for more than three terms, according to the order.
Such well-known representatives of the party as deputy prime ministers Bulent Arinc, Bashir Atalay and Ali Babacan, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdag, deputy head of the ruling party Huseyin Celik, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Minister of European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mevlut Cavusoglu will not be able to participate in the 2015 elections.
The parliamentary elections in Turkey will be held on July 14, 2015.
