“Police had to use force and apply non-lethal weapons, including rubber bullets, and then brought the illegal migrants to their rooms,” the spokeswoman said, as broadcast by local television.
According to the police, the unrest began after a resident in the center started to act “aggressively,” and was subsequently isolated by local authorities, causing migrant protests.
