East China Landslide Death Toll Climbs to 25
A landslide that hit the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang has killed 25 people while 12 others remain missing, local media reported Monday.
The previous death toll from the landslide that struck the Lidong village near Lishui city late Friday stood at 21 and 16 missing.

The latest victims, as reported by the People’s Daily, range from 2 years old to 92 years old.
One survivor is said to have been found so far. Over 300 villagers have been relocated as the landslide buried an estimated 27 homes under mud.
