French Police Kill Two Terror Suspects, Two Others Surrounded
Several policemen sustained wounds during a special operation in the northern Paris suburb Saint Denis conducted over the terror attacks in the capital.
Two or three suspects are reportedly surrounded.

French police have killed two suspected terrorists during special operations in the Parisian suburb of Saint Denis and two others are surrounded, le Monde reported Wednesday.

According to the news outlet, information on yet another suspect is being investigated.

"The operation is targeting Abdelhamid Abaud, the suspected organizer of Friday`s terrorist acts," RMC reported.

The shooting reportedly started at 4:30 a.m. local time.

Witnesses say a police operator told on the phone a police operation is ongoing. There are also reports specifying that the local SWAT team RAID is at the scene. CNN reports an unspecified number of police officers has been wounded, citing witnesses. "The gunfight in Saint-Denis is related to the manhunt of [Paris attacks] perpetrators," the iTele TV channel reported. An official confirmation is yet to follow.

On November 13, eight extremists wearing explosive belts attacked several venues across Paris, killing 129 people and injuring hundreds more at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France stadium. The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The Stade de France stadium is located in the Saint Denis suburb.
