Earlier, a shootout occurred in Turkey’s Diyarbakir province between the militants of the “Islamic State” terrorist organization and the local police forces.
A similar incident occurred in the central Turkish province of Konya.
Previously, Ankara repeatedly said that the “Islamic State” is a serious threat for Turkey, and all countries must work together to combat global terrorism.
The “Islamic State” announced the creation of “Islamic caliphate” in the areas under its control in Iraq and Syria in late June 2014.
